DANTES Consolidated List of External Examinations

DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSSTs) are an outgrowth of the end-of-course tests originally developed for the United States Armed Forces Institute (USAFI). The DSSTs are subject-matter examinations in college and technical subjects. Each Examination has been standardized on a sample of approximately 1,000 students in civilian schools and colleges who have successfully completed a comparable course. The DSSTs are distributed, scored, and reported by the Educational Testing Service, P.O. Box 6604, Princeton, New Jersey, 08541.
